I have set up this tribute fund in memory of my mum. In May 2011 she was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma. This was a type of cancer I had never heard of before. She fought for a year and a half with this, going in and out of remission. Sadly, in October 2012 she lost her battle and passed away from cancer. She has left many family members and friends behind and is missed by all every single day. All of the charity work I am doing is in her name, the whole reason I have set up this tribute fund. I want to help families like mine who were unaware of this type of cancer until it was too late. If I can help one family from suffering the way ours did, then I will see it as a success.
